Last weekend, my friends and I visited a nearby farm and picked up fruits. It was such a wonderful experience that I can not wait to share it with all of you.

At about 10 in the morning, We arrived at the farm by bike.The air was fresh and we all felt relaxed. It was the season of peaches.They looked so fresh and sweet, we couldn’t help smelling them under the tree.

Then,with a basket in hand,we climbed on different trees by using a short ladder and began to pick up peaches, which were big and red. Soon, each of us got a full basket, we felt very excited and had a sense of achivement. While picking up, the farm owner told us a large amount of knowledge about planting and caring peaches, which benefited us a lot. Surprisingly,the peaches were much cheaper than those in the supermarket.

We all really had great fun.The picking up activity not only brought us great joy and an intersting weekend, but also provided a chance for us to further understand the hardship of the farmers. We should cherish their hard work and do not waste food and fruits.
